Suzie Leon is a Boston-based, self-taught watercolor artist whose work focuses on intimate, expressive animal portraiture. Drawing since childhood, she has spent years developing a personal artistic style rooted in observation, emotion, and storytelling. Her paintings aim to capture not only the physical likeness of animals, but also the personality and quiet connection they share with the people who love them. Her personal artistic style works to give patrons "moments of clarity"- realistic details spontaneously placed, eager to be admired.
Working primarily in watercolor, Suzie is drawn to the medium’s softness, movement, and unpredictability — qualities that allow each piece to feel both delicate and alive. Her work blends realism with warmth and character, creating portraits that feel personal and timeless.
With a background outside of traditional fine arts training, Suzie brings a fresh and intuitive perspective to her practice. She is currently expanding her portfolio with the goal of collaborating with corporate art programs, galleries, and creative companies that connect emerging artists with collectors and public spaces.
